I realize beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that crap... but, I have to confess to thinking real violence has been done to the word "awesome" in this thread.

That Ms. Marvel splash is a million times sexier than a lot of the current panels I've seen with her, where her cheeks are spilling out all over.

Could be, but that last panel posted by Juan really made up for it!

Although there's been an awful lot of violence done to the word "panel" -
singular! - in this thread too.

The Legion pages seem kinda cliched

  1. "I was once your sweet nice considerate FRIEND but NOW I AM PURE IRRATIONALLL EVIL 4 NO REASON AHAHAHAHAHA"
  2. *Only ugly character in the group gets killed, preferably ugly AND female*
  3. No one reading cares or feels anything about the betrayal cuz this ain't the Dark Phoenix Saga.

I agree (and admittedly, one of mine wasn't a panel either!)

Awesome - ie. COOL, GREAT...not funny, unintentionally funny, gross, etc.

Panel - a panel. Not a full page, not a multiple page sequence, etc.

Although some panels are awesome bc of the context, so I can see putting some pages up...

Call me crazy, but I think that Sienkiewicz guy might just have a future in
this mixed-up business ...

Cheers!

The thread title does say panel, singular, but I think the plural is implied, otherwise the whole thread might contain only one panel and all of us commenting on that single panel.
