The Atom/Batman (and the aformentioned Atom/GL splash page from "Justice League of America #200") panel brings to mind something that nags me. Why do some comic artists have a punch thrown in one direction and the direction of the stricken face goes in the opposite direction?

My friend and I used to notice that 'opposite force of the face or head from punches' when we were kids.
haha.

Nathan Greno
What's this panel and who's the artist?
I noticed the file name indicates a 'cookie' collage...?
LOVE the artwork.

Dan Gordon -- there's more of his work on page 15 of this thread.

WHO is that Batman-Scarecrow punch? Alan Davis? It's one of the best punches I've ever seen!

Thank you Nathan! I've never heard of Dan Gordon before, but he now has a new fan! His woman are definitely cute. I also thought Roy Crane did swell, cartoony women.
Here are three panels that I really love.

The Demon Bear stuff I thought was horible. I loved Bills Moon Knoght stuff, and would put that among some of the best work I have ever seen, but it just didn't work for me on New Mutants.

That panel looks great, Stephane.
I wish there was more translated European comics over here for me to enjoy.
