The original seems to have a different face! Look at the hair details around the face...

You're right, there's two overall distinct strokes on the right for her hair and it's one united part in the first scan posted. How bizarre, how bizarre!

There's also a spot of red on her forehead. The color isn't corrected at all. Shame on Paulo Pereira's statement! ;)

they certainly do not match up perfectly..one of them seems to be a little bit streched, and her left waist is definetly different

Definitely someone did a little too much editing in photoshop in the
wrong areas. Looks like they were trying to beef up the black lines,
probably lost some of them in the scanning and ended up losing some of
the fine line detail and actual effect of the original art. Which is ironic as
one of the great advantages of the new printing technologies is that you
can actually hold those finer Perez-esque lines that would have filled in or
disappeared before. And then the retoucher had the audacity to "fix" the
original's waistline.
