The SHIELD "mini-cruiser" may be one of the greatest single designs of Kirby tech ever. LOVE IT.

Speaking of beautiful work, Gil Kane inked by Tom Sutton!

One of my favorite splash panels ever...

There was one panel a few pages back that I didn't recognize, but I am going to take a guess and say that it was Luthor Jr vs Supergirl (or something similar) from one of the Generation books.
Assuming I am right (for a change) I have a quick question for JB about it, if he would be so kind.

I immediately thought of Frank Miller's famous Bullseye/Elektra image.
Did you intend for similar symbolism as Miller did in his picture, or did your picture just "come out" the way it did?
I thought I read all of the Generations, but either it was long enough ago that my feebleness is showing through, or I may have just missed that issue. It could have been spelled out in the issue, but as I can't remember it, I am just guessing.

Some nice posts.......one thought though, if you're going to post
a 6, 8 or whatever panel page in the "Awesome panel thread",
how about a line telling us which panel on the page you found to
be awesome !?   Not trying to rag on anybody in particular, as many
posters have posted whole pages, but it would be cool to know which
panel is the one being referred to?         &nb sp;       just a thought.

Well heck, every panel on the Chief page above is awesome, my friend!

In my case, I think the other panels on a page sometimes lend "context" to the awesomeness that is the Chief body-slamming, and killing!, a giant condor! Or Daredevil clubbing two guys unconscious with the last panel the "punchline".

Just contextual stuff, is all.
