Definitely one of my favorite commissions by JB. To really get an idea of the size I would love to see a picture of Jim holding this.

I like how Dr. Doom's head kind of jumps out at you and yet doesn't.  It is an amazing commission.

When you do one for Jim like this, is it anticipated to be auctioned off through Jim's business?  I would imagine that this one would have a great chance of collecting much more than the standard large format fee.

Looking at this and it's potential as a poster... Has Marvel or DC ever purchased a commission and requested to use it as a poster or cover?  If they did, would you charge them the same as us or would it have to be different because they owned the characters?

My first thought when seeing it was "Which peasant has displeased me most in the past five minutes...?", suspecting Doom's handgun could probably shoot across Latveria.

Incredible work, JB.

••

Only if Jim has to buy inconsequential stuff like food or shoes for his kids.

He collects these for himself.

The background controls the eye very well.  Doom looks awesome. 20 x 30 too! It just doesn't get any better.

Wow.  Looks great.  Every new commission seems to get better than the last one!  Mr. Warden is a lucky guy!
