AWESOME. I'm getting a John Buscema vibe from the way he's sitting. The slouch conveys so much...arrogance, confidence, malevolence.

NOBODY drew sitting figures better than Big John! It has taken me a long,
long time to even get within hailing distance. Thanks for the compliment!

I just had one of Those Moments.Old timers here will know what I'm taking about. I have mentioned this before. That eleven year old kid who picked up his first issue of FANTASTIC FOUR (#5) back in 1962 just looked out thru these tired old eyes and saw this drawing. And all in a rush it came flooding to me again, that this is Doctor Doom, that same Doctor Doom I first "met" back in '62, and for so many of you, this drawing is every bit as "real" as one done by Jack Kirby, or John Buscema, or any of the giants upon whose shoulders I stand. You cannot imagine how that feels!!

That is the best Doom anyone's drawn in decades!
I didn't think you could top the Doom holding the globe commission, but it just happened!

Excellent piece sir. I even get to see the gun done by JB. This is my new favorite I've seen you do JB. It's like Doom is saying: "Never mess with a man who owns his own country."

As many others have said already, "Wow!"
This is probably my favorite Doom commission and there have been many good ones before this! I wouldn't have expected a character sitting down could be full of such energy. I love the background details and that is such an evil mask/face!
