That's a great idea. Do you generally go the internet route when ordering display cases or is there a store in your area? Having never done this, I really don't know if there are brick and mortar stores that specialize in these kinds of things or carry them as part of their furniture line.

Well, I just looked at DCBS and Things from Another World, and I just
couldn't bring myself to pre-order "Superman-Prime." That's two I've
refused in as many months. Anti-Monitor? No way. Hawkman looks mighty
good, though.

the first DC book I ever bought was Crisis On Infinite Earths #12...loved that Perez cover with all the heroes battling the Anti-Monitor. I'll probably end up getting the AM figurine for that reason.

Brad, I considered the Anti-Monitor because of my affinity for Crisis on
Infinite Earths, but I just couldn't do it. I really can't imagine what DC
character needs the giant "Super Special" treatment.

yeah, I was pretty anti-dc for a long time. i knew about all of the big dogs...superman, batman, wonder woman, etc. my cousin collected primarily DC so when my parents sat downstairs sipping scotch with my aunt & uncle I would camp out in his bedroom tearing through his stacks or Batman & Teen Titans. When I started collecting comics of my own I guess I felt like I had to chose a side and since my favorites books (FF, Captain America, Spider-Man, GI Joe) were Marvel I decided to...wait for it...MAKE MINE MARVEL!
I was drawn into Crisis for the art...I was never really able to follow any DC books unless the art was stellar, unlike Marvel where I was more likely to follow characters or groups regardless of who the creative teams were. The first monthlies I bought regularly from DC were Man Of Steel, Superman, Action Comics & Legends with art by JB.
I did feel that I was able to get a pretty general idea as to what was going on thanks to Perez's History Of The DC Universe, but my knowledge of the DCU was never anywhere close to my familiarity of Marvel.

My first comics were DC comics--Superboy no. 184 and 186 and Justice
League of America no. 98, which were all on the same spinner rack at the
same time, oddly enough--so I will always love my DC heroes. But
Superman-Prime is just not a figurine I can make myself buy.

I picked up Deathtroke this WE, very nice and highly detailled figurine, altough I would have liked THE spike as a weapon instead of the sword and the gun. I can't wait to have Cyborg to complete the TT team !!!

Haven't decided. I'll see how complex it would be.
(Speaking of repaints, I'm currently converting Marvel's Sentry into Arion, for
Paul Kupperberg. I'll post pictures when it's done.)
