At first I thought it was Penguin's umbrella, but I think it is a batarang.  I don't like the bike.  TOO big, among other things.

Even if I am a big fan of Batman (I will get this model on the bike, of course), I don't understand why he deserves such a treatment from Eaglemoss : 3 figurines for one character !!! With all the wonderfull "toys" Bruce Wayne has, EM can come up with a dozen of figurines at least.

I have the 2 Batman figurines and have displayed them this way : Batman of Rooftop with my JLA team and the other one with the characters from the Batman universe. I only wonder how I will explain the third one (on the bike) to my wife ...

It is indeed a Batarang, scraping along the floor kicking up some flame. Nice touch with the gouge in the base it is leaving

As for bikes being TOO big.....

a bike can never be too big, mine isn't

It seems to me that DC has trapped itself into a curious dichotomy with
Batman. Artists love to plaster bat-symbols all over everything he owns, yet
that to me speaks of a Batman who is having fun with the concept, not a
grim and gritty psycho-ninja.

It's a nice sculpt, but that Batman doesn't look right on that motorcycle.  The Batman has the dark, scowling modern look, but the purplish cycle looks like something the 1960s Batgirl would have ridden.

Love the Batman on a motorcycle sculpt!  I think it's damn near perfect.  Love the Batarang scraping the base, love the design of the bike, and think Batman's cape swirling behind him is beautiful.  Yeah, I'll have to look for this when it's released in the States.

My bike riding days are a lot of years behind me, alas, but it seems to me
this sculpt needs one small detail to make it really work. Unless Batman is
somehow holding himself up with that batarang, his front wheel should be
angled inward slightly, to indicate he's turning, or he's gonna fall over!

Bikers, feel free to correct me on this.

There is a "strange" phenomenom when riding a bike called "counter steer"....  at low speed if you turn the bars to the left the bike will turn left...however at higer speeds if you turn the bars to the left the bike will lean right and thus turn right.

Normally you steer by shifting bodyweight and the bars sort themselves out, howver counter steer is very effective at allowing rapid changes in directiion whilst maintaining full control.....it becomes instinctive.

Sorry JB hope that helps.

main concern as a "biker" is those tyres squared off like that would mean pretty dodgy handling.  LOL

Evidently he was in LEGENDS, but I have no memory of drawing him.

----------

The poster asked about DEATHSTROKE -- which I don't recall if you've drawn, either, JB -- a page earlier you stated you didn't recall drawing DEADSHOT (from the Suicide Squad) in Legends.  Deathstroke was not in Legends, Deadshot was.   Kinda easy to confuse the two, though.  They're similar (yet different).

Cool sculpt for the Batman/Batcycle, but what would be the purpose of dragging the batarang? Making a spark to set some gasoline on the ground on fire? Sharpening the edge? Doing a cool trick to strike fear into the hearts of criminals?

Or am I being too retentive?
