No offence to Gregg, but I view Internet Deaths in a very similar fashion to Comic Book ones. It's worth not investing too much into it as you never know when it will be retconned.
Which means alas, that the genuine sufferers being tarred with the same brush.

Sad, but true.
It chills me to think that someone would fake the death of a family member so as to bolster an argument about a comic book. Not to say that's what's happened here, but the timing seems rather...convenient. Of course, if this death is genuine, then I again offer my condolences.
We've had a few messy incidents around here where trolling forum members pretended to die themselves, and then assumed the role of a friend or relative to "break the news".
Unfortunately, in the age of the Internet, these things have to be viewed with some emotional distance at best, and suspicion at worst.
Which is deeply sad.
