It's clear that this is in direct response to me telling Malachy to "put up or
shut up" about the post he was so specific that JB had made. SInce I haven't
made any claims myself, nor disputed any of what he has said, it's becoming
apparent to me who is guilty of misconstruction here...

Though it's telling that you think that I should validate my claims but not
apply a similar call to everyone who claimed to be aware of 'The Apology'.
One rule for one and another for others eh Al?

Mal, I had very pointedly used the phrase "put up or shut up", directed
specifically at you, just one post earlier.
You didn't quote me or reference me? Laughable!
And the notion of "One rule for one and another for others"? THAT WAS
EXACTLY MY POINT, although I was making it about you. You were
bandying about people like JB and Matt not posting reference when you
weren't yourself!
It's apparent that you are being deliberately obtuse.

Some might say that referring specifcally to the poster your engaging as
"Obnoxious", 'Condescending', "a waste of time and energy" and lying
about them starting 'name-calling' would constitute attacking them
rather than their post Matt.
Wouldn't you agree, especially since you even find imagined attacks and
name-calling where there aren't any!

So you see nothing in what your wrote above that I quoted in order, all prior to my reaction to you in the post you now reference, as constituting being obnoxious, condescending, and name-calling?
No "imagined attacks" at all, Malachy. Just read your remarks to me (conveniently pulled for you four posts above) about what you assume to be me "misconstruing" your point by passive-aggressively slamming me and then outright stating that the only way I could be stating my point the way I am is that I'm an idiot because there certainly is absolutely no other reason...unless I'm deliberately misconstruing it.

Why would I need to when you yourself had been doing so? I was merely
injecting a modicum of fairness that it was time that you held yourself to
that same standard.

This ain't my fight, but I have been reading along.
On page 69 of this thread Malachy quoted JB's post from Network 54 from 2003.
Proof right there that JB's quote is "BACKGROUND MAN" in PARENTHESIS!.
Then, quote - "This guy according to HIS story drew the backgrounds in Savage Dragon."
Then the word - quote - "apparently."
(sorry everyone, I don't know how to 'quote function')
Seems that JB was going by info he was given by this guy he met.
Based on what Malachy supplied here, I find Byrne blameless.
