In an ideal world, Roger Stern would be writing Spider-Man. That's all I know. (:
Stern's Spider-Man is STUNNING.

I've been pleased with both art teams so far. BND has been the first time I've been able to read the book in years. I'm not crazy about Jackpot, but the rest is okay.

Wayne, I agree totally! In that same perfect world Stern would still be writing Superman, too. ; )

So, I guess our own Marc Guggenheim is trading issues with Dan Slott, while this thing runs three times monthly. I admit I bought the first one and have yet to read it, before deciding to jump in and start buying Amazing again regularly.

There are four writing teams for Amazing. Dan Slott, Marc Guggenheim, Bob "I'm not Zemeckis" Gale and Zeb Wells.

This is the first time it's really felt like Peter in a very long time.

Some interviews I read or listened to late last fall quoted him as saying he'd be back on Spider-Man in 2008. Can't wait!

Knowing of my comic book reading habits, a couple of folks at work have asked me recently about the details of "Spider-Man's divorce."
In trying to avoid the myriad perceptions that would have been created by giving the character a divorce, the creators somehow failed to dispel the central perception that the character had gotten a divorce.
