As far as i'm concerned i read BND as if the Clone Saga, Sins Past & OMD never happened.

Sorry, Stephane...the man behind the curtain wasn't inadvertantly revealed by a nosy dog...the Wizard pointed to him and said to take a good long look at him.

The best thing is to not listen to what Quesada have to say. He did his OMD crap. It was silly, awfull & out of character, but it isn't a part of brand new day. OMD matters only in regard of the continuity, and could/should be fixed later.
Brand New Day, is a Wacker (the editor) Slott (the writer) McNiven (the artist) book. Given the quality of their own work and that recent continuity is a nonsense, and have been for a very long time, what was done immediatly before them should be ignored for now.
Quesada isn't the good person to fix it.

I went to the store earlier today. On the shelf were three issues of Amazing. The Mephisto one and a couple brand new day ones. I liked the art quite a bit, but Spider-Man making a deal with Mephisto is something I can't bear. It feels way too wrong. I didn't bother to pick any of them up...

Gotcha. Maybe I'll take your advice.
I look forward to seamlessly reading from ASM 543, skipping OMD, and going to #546.
I'll be able to do that, right?
[edit to add:]
Maybe if BND were truly...well, pardon the expression...amazing, it might be enough to enable me to overlook a deal with the devil. But it's not amazing. It's mediocre, at best. I suspect that, while I'm sure there's readers truly enjoying it, there's a fair number whose reactions boil down to, "It's not like the last guys were doing, so that means it's great!"
Of course, I heard the same thing when JMS took over.

I bought One More Day part 4 in airport on the way to Reykjavik last week. It
was awful. Quesada's art wasn't even pretty to look at. That said, I enjoy the
work of everyone involved with Brand New Day, so I'm giving each team a
shot.

I think the next Amazing Spider-Man actually comes out next week. This is the week off in the three times a month shipping schedule.

I picked up the first three issues of "Brand New Day" last week and I have to say, I loved 'em. For the first time in a long time, I really felt that I was reading a Spider-Man comic again.
I'll stick with 'em as long as they keep this up.
