I remember the first time I red JB's Next Men n°6, and especially when I realized there was a connection between 2112 (that I had red several months before) and JB's Next Men. What a blast, I didn't recognize Sathanas at the end of n°0 without the mask and the destroyed body/armor !

I just hope, for the new readers, that n°6 will be published in this order in the "Phonebooks", and not just after 2112.

I wish I could erase the memory of having already red the entire run !

This is such good news and even though I have all the JBNM stuff I`ll really enjoy these phonebooks in black and white. They are also going to be perfect gifts for all your friends and family ;-)

I'll also buy a few copies just to give them away to my friends.

I hope JB includes a few Easter Eggs of new material - a page here or there....that would be neat.

Isn't an easter egg something you have to hunt for to find?  How could this be done?  JB hiding new pages in his backyard?

Hi to everybody!

I'm also ordering a few of those phonebooks to promote

Next Men with some of my new customers, here in Mexico City.

Anyway, already posted the info in the forum section of the

store's webpage!

                           Cheers!

John,

I would love to interview you for Newsarama about Nextmen and Star Trek at IDW. I am a big fan of both.

Just read about the phone books.  Great news!  I'm going to have to buy a couple of extras to give to friends (and help support the hopeful return of Next Men).

Yes, that's the idea!

Although I also have the issues, I'll buy a set for me,
snd try to convince a few customers to taste all things Byrne!

I'm gonna throw caution to the wind & go with the theory that if JBNM "phone books" encounter the same sort of retailers that were apparently prevalent enough to cause JB to cancel the series...

In other words the self-fulfilling prophecy of telling potential customers that the book won't sell because JB's stuff either "sucks", "blows", "stinks", etc., then JB just may fold his cards on potential new stuff with Next Men.

****

But unlike single issue, with trades we don't have to depend on  comic shop guys  to order and  sell these things.  They'll be available at regular bookshops like Barnes and Noble and Borders. And if each of  THEM order s and sells  just a couple copies...JB and IDW could have a decent hit on their hands.

Finding this thread a little late, but great news indeed.

IDW definitely seems to be the comics company to keep an eye on.

Btw, JB how many Next Men phonebooks will there be?
I'll definitely be getting them so that I'll finally get the chance to read the M4 story that the TPBs so bluntly left me without.

Just got an e-mail that Tales of Wonder is having a sale on most of the
Next Men collections printed by Dark Horse.

Go there if you are still interested in these.

Me? I'm waiting for the Phone Books.
