Did you ask Terry to modify the uniform?

JB asked: "Did you ask Terry to modify the uniform?"

**********

No. I didn't make any requests other than an idea for the background. I actually prefer the older look that Terry went with. But it was sheer chance that he decided to go that route.

Good call on Terry's part, then!

And nice piece of art, Paul!

A lot of lovely art popping up here just now... Utterly love Ted's li'l Kubert Hawkman! Huge congrats, Ted!

Craig's Hembeck and Kim DD's are also right up there in my book.

And Paul... loevly Green Lantern, but I must say that the Theakston inks really captures a nice Kirby vibe, so I can understand you jumping on that one. Incidentally, what series is it? Don't know what was in that issue of DC Comics Presents, but it looks like fun. :)

I must be blind.  What changed in the GL uniform from pencils to ink?

Craig – The torso part which would be lighter green (unless my memeory deceives me) only stretches down to the lower abdomen in the pencils while Terry's inks have made them cover the entire crotch area (in the classic superhero underwear over longjohns type style). It took me a second look to spot it though, I must admit. Hope that makes it clearer for you anyways.

I doubt it is visible in the scan but I can see it on the page

I can see a head in the second and last panels, though I don't think I'd have spotted them if you hadn't mentioned them.

Thanks for the support, Guys.  I am soo excited about having anything Kubert and I am simply blown away by this Hawkman.  I love it.

When I get my Captain America, can I stop by and drop it off myself JB?

(Yes, this is a bribe.)

Just wanted to thank Paul Greer for sending me the information for the Kubert sketched book. Didn't have time to do it before now because of work. The 2 pieces arrived today with the mail. Will post them in a minute. Thanks again Paul.....Brian
