Love the Simonson Cap, Jason! How long does it take Walt to bust out one of those sketches?

Joe - That was just a couple minutes. Not bad since it is on 10x14 board.

Not at all Steve. I was planning on forwarding it to you. Had a blast talking with you and very happy that you spent so much time on the piece.

Just got an email from Mark Mckenna, who agreed to ink the Batman Studyguide pencils of Mike Mckone. I picked it up from Mike at the show, before walking over to Mark and asking him to ink it for me. It is in the mail tomorrow:

Looks like a snowball fight to me. Two cool dudes frolicking in a winter wonderland.

Jim Warden and I had a good chuckle about that piece. We asked the same thing. Artistically it is amazing up close. Very tight and done on oversize board. Not quite the scene I had asked for or at least envisioned. Unfortunately that is part of the commission game. Still a very nice piece and Greg put a lot of effort into it.

These are some great pieces guys. I really love the McLeod Black Canary. Jason, the two Caps by Greg is great. Looks like you scored big in B-More. Fantastic stuff all around. You need to hurry up and post the Brando piece. The suspense is killing me. I'm surprised you didn't get a Warlock by Rainey. The Cap he did is off the charts.

You have a good humor, Jason. Also, no disrespect regarding the LaRoque piece. His work on Flash is some of my favorite... To me, that is the Cap and Cap Kegger Party, and there is nothing wrong with that!

If I knew it was going to turn out that good I would have gone for a full two figure action scene. To be honest to is the pic doesnt look nearly as good as the actual piece.
