Some scans just showed up for three new pieces from the uber-talented Agnes Garbowska.  I love the Lilo & Stitch-like quality to her style.  I'd had the Kang+ idea in my head for a while, just looking for the right artist.  Love that look of joy on the Chief's face and I just love the Scarlet Witch's face.

Plus I just got this in the mail from Tony DeZuniga.  More of my love of the obscures.  DC's Doctor Thirteen (who Tony co-created), Dr. Occult and Dell / Gold Key's Doctor Spektor.  Pretty much all of Spektor's line work is lost in the scan so he doesn't look as cool here.

These are from the MOC from last year but as I was not posting yet I figured I would share with this year's show right around the corner:

Jason,

I am this close to invoking my "if you don't have it posted to a CAF Gallery, it doesn't exist" rule!  THIS CLOSE!!!!

(Nice Caps!  Van Sciver's profile Cap really works and Sprouse's has a nice classic vibe to it.)

Jason, congrats for the pieces, especially the Alan Davis one. Every sketch he does is a special one.

Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight Annual #1, pg 6

Pencils and inks by Jim Aparo

As far as I'm concerned, Batman doesn't get any better than this! Jim Aparo on pencils and inks--for me, the definitive Batman artist.

Lloyd - That is great!  A 6-panel with Batman in each by Aparo is amazing.  Great pick up.
