The Broderick pieces were commissioned from Pat directly...a pleasure to deal with. He nailed my requests perfect.

Batman: Blackgate #1, pg 25
Pencils by Jim Aparo, inks by David Roach
Jim Aparo is my favorite Batman artist, bar none. Here he demonstrates his unique and very cinematic approach as Blackgate prison is in chaos after an earthquake, while Batman attempts to overcome the enormity of what has transpired.

Aparo is great. Nice page. I'd like to pick up some Aquaman and Spectre sometime. I have a Brave and Bold 177 page 17 and Phantom Stranger pin-up he did. His own inks and lettering, great stuff. A master for sure.

Brad,
I'd love to see your Brave and the Bold page sometime--I LOVED Aparo's work on that series!

A new piece I was just able to pick up by Mitch Ballard. I'm sad to have missed Mitch's active years and wish he'd come out of
retirement - but, until then, I'm pleased to be able to add this to the collection. I just wish that he'd've gone with Hal
rather than what's-his-face.

Excellent commission. I only noticed Aquaman after a second glance. Poor
Arthur!
