Other than the stubble, no similarity. The face on my piece is clearly a Liefeld face. It is unmistakably a Liefeld piece
As for piece, I think JB has asked that we not get into that but email me and I will hook u up

maybe I'm wrong, but i was going from memory... i know that image from somewhere by Jim Lee... maybe Superman #205... again I am going from memory (which is not smart)
I will do my research before making the claim again. But I swear, my mind recognizes that image from some Jim Lee book!

Really?
I must be mental! To me it looks like Rob shadowboxed the image and customized it to make it batman, and a little different.
The legs, chest belt/briefs, extended arm were almost identical to me.
Maybe I am just inclinced to think any Liefeld is a trace

Ari's piece is definitely not a trace of All-Star-Goddamned-Batman #9 or the
Superman piece you posted, Dan.
(Not that I blame you for expecting that Liefeld swiped it from somewhere...)

I wasn't trying to start a Liefeld flame, so I'll knock it off... similar poses aside, it is a different piece... although next to the Jim Lee Batman, Liefeld's looks like my nephew drew it... he's 2

I love the flat, one dimensional brick chimney behind Batman's leg! That has me almost crying!
Ari, I am just goofing on Liefeld.. please don't take it personally.
In a collection as vast as yours, Liefeld's interpretation should be represented. Like him or not, he is a very important artist in comics modern history.
