Another one that's "in the mail" for me.

This is the first in a series of commissions featuring Pre-Crisis Justice Society Members vs. Early Spider-Man Villains (up to #50), each done by a different artist as my tribute to the old-time JSA stories (although I ended up cheating twice; hooray for technicalities! :-) ).

Thanks to all of those who offered match up suggestions when I asked awhile back.  ( http://www.byrnerobotics.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=24930 &PN=1&TPN=1 )  While I didn’t use too many of them, they really helped get the thought processes going.  Unfortunately for my wallet, you did TOO good of a job, so the project has more than tripled in size since its inception (when it was just the "final 7" Golden Age JSAers against the Sinister Six).  Ah well. :-)

And here's a pretty example of how thorough I ended up being, Johnny Thunder and his Thunderbolt vs. the Beetle and Xandu by Robert Pope:

Jonathan - Have you never heard of that before?

Aric - Pope is one of the artists featured here (along with Herb Trimpe, Keith Pollard, Ron Wilson and a few others):

Some of the sketches I picked up at the Motor City Comic Con.

This is from Tiny Titans artist, Art Baltazar.

I wasn't familiar with Uko Smith before the con. A buddy of mine bought a sketch from him and I liked it enough to get one myself.

Cyclops by David Finch.
