I am very, VERY happy with the Hawkman.  Please do not take me the wrong way that I am not.

Still waiting to see Wayne's Batman.

On Joe Kubert's site:

"Thanks to your overwhelming response to the special offer all 100 sketches have been completed. "Tex, the Lonesome Rider" with sketch is no longer available."

No, I believe Wayne stated in an earlier post that he had requested either a Tarzan or Hawkman.

I think Wayne mentioned a Tarzan but continues to hold out on us.  I've been casually slipping reminders into various posts of mine throughout the forum for the past two weeks with no luck getting him to post it.

You know how those big time comic book writers are!  =0)

I need to make a retraction (as I pull my foot out of my mouth).  I went back and double-checked my order request and I did request either a Tarzan or a HAWKMAN.  So I did get what I requested!!!

I guess I got wrapped up into wanting a Tarzan so much that I completely forget about my second request.  I will go crawl back into my box now. 8-(

This sketch doesn't belong to me, the owner is my best friend. I was scanning it for him because the artist wanted a scan of it and I since I like it so much, I thought I'd share. Barry Kitson ws doing free sketches at Mid-Ohio Con and I personally think this was the best one.

I just decided that I like Hembeck's work a lot more in black and white.

Hmmm... Fred Hembeck inked by John Byrne... the Ditko/Byrne pairing was not something I had expected prior to seeing the two team-up on that Avengers Annual.. Hembeck's stylized pencils with Byrne's polished inks would be pretty cool to see.

I wonder what the reverse of that idea would look like, Fred.

Paul, your friend is a lucky guy, that is an awesome Supergirl!  I've never seen Kitson do a fully colored sketch before.
