Jimmie---Wonderful Mr. Miracle by Rude. He is one of my favorite artists to commision when available. Is the book with sketch still available and how much was it? Thanks for the information. And to add my thoughts, I also prefer to keep the artwork in the volume and would only take it out if the artwork was in danger of being damaged. That's why any of my sketched books like the Kubert books go into archival acid free boxes for protection..........Now here is a question I want to toss out to my fellow commision collectors: How do you store your artwork?

Storing is always an issue if you can't frame them all.  I keep my unframed pieces in sleeves(the same kind Warden sends the pieces to me in) and then put the sleeved pieces into an art box.  I just don't like the portfolios.  They aren't sturdy enough and make me nervous.  Each of my daughters now has a box full of art that will be theirs when they hit 18.

Hey Ari- I was talking to my parents today, and it turns out that you're my real father...
...and I'm a girl!
Can I have my box of art now?

Hell, it's worth the whole "Some Like it Hot/Tootsie/Bussom Buddies" thing if I get a box of Batman commissions...

Or could it just apply to the son you never knew you had?

That was born in 1973...

No?

damn.

Oh well, I tried.

A big 'thank you all' to everyone who posted their Kubert sketches here, and inspired me to get on the list.... The book arrived in work yesterday where the policy is that personal mail is to be left at security and not to be picked up untill the end of the day...talk about torture!  But eight hours later I finaly laid eyes on this beauty....
