I think all those sketches are giving me Kubert-vision, a similar phenomenon to what happens when one reads dozens of Kirby comics in a row. I'm not complaining.

All these Kubert sketches makes me want to read a lot of Kubert stuff I haven't read... and somehow, it feels VERY nice to have a great treasure hoard of nice stuff to look forward to. And I really have to get those Tarzan volumes with his stuff.

Just going through my original artwork collection and thought I would share this oddball piece of mine. It is the Jay Garrick-Flash by Jean "Moebius" Giraud. It was done at a Steve's Comic Relief(Pennsylvania) store appearance when he finished the Silver Surfer mini..... Enjoy...Brian

Brian, that is by far the weirdest con sketch that I have ever seen, and I've seen alot...
Kudos for you for asking living legend Moebius to draw the freakin' golden age Flash.
If I had been next in line, I would've asked for Modok.
or Peter Porker, Spider Ham.
I kid because my brother also collects drawings of the JSA , and sometimes the characters just don't fit the artists- with good and bad results...
Heck, I have some odd ones myself.
edited to point out that his helmet ears ARE FLAPPING!?!?!?!?
weird.

I keep searching back through this thread, but I can't find the info on how to order one of these Kubert sketches. If someone could let me know, I'd be grateful.

I had my brother help me get some updated scans of a bunch of my stuff. Several pieces all I had were digital pics of. My CAF Gallery has been updated with all new scans vastly improving parts of it (especially my con sketch section, check out that 13 second Batman by Byrne). Check it out! The only new pieces to share are these letters included with my two Fred Hembeck commissions:

 Fred-Thing? Man-Beck?!?!
