In each of Kubert's sketches, it seems as if he has a model standing right in front of him. It's amazing, even in his loosest of sketches, you know that squiggle is just in the right place. Holy Cow!

Like the Shuster influenced Superman from Hughes.  I like that look for the Man of Steel.
The Kubert sketches are just great.  And that's all I have to say about that.

Now that is an amazing Kubert Tarzan. To me it is like looking through a telescope and getting to see the meat of the battle. So few lines but so much detail.

Jeff's Kubert piece is stunning! And a Tarzan as well... I really need to get those Dark Horse HC volumes with Kubert's Tarzan.

The things that seems to stand out for me with those Kubert pieces is that they have not one bit of the rigidity of most inked comic drawings.  The energy and fluidity is astonishing.

Alright, that's it! Could not take it any longer and just called and ordered me a Kubert book/sketch. Will share once in hand of course.

My request, just to break up the all dudes illos was Hawkgirl. We'll see what I actually end up with.

And just for those of you left sitting on the fence...my order was #89 of 100. That leaves very few left for purchase.
