Same here.  I was lucky enough to get a commission from him awhile back.  If you're a fan of Frenz and/or Daredevil, take a peek at my CAF.  :)

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Ron at a con in Detroit 4-5 years
ago. Three days of watching Ron do killer sketch after killer sketch, each
awesome, and each done with a speed that made me weep...
This was when Spider Girl had been cancelled, so Ron was not on a
monthly book. He was really down and pretty sure that the industry was
finished for him, even though he was still busy doing animation
storyboards.
We told him, over and over, that he was full of crap...
and he'd do another ten killer drawings, and we'd tell him he was full of
even more crap...
cuz he's awesome!!!!
Thankfully Spider-Girl returned, and Ron's been busy for a while.

cuz he's awesome!

Here is my Joe Kubert sketch. I did not ask for any specific character and got this fantastic drawing.

Joe those Frenz pieces are GREAT!  I've been toying with getting something by him myself.  Coincidentally, those are two of the three figures I've been hemming and hawing over.  Spider-Man in his black costume is the third.

The Frenz pieces are incredible.  I HIGHLY recomend Ron as far as commisions go.  He did a killer Bataman for me as well

Joe, are you pushing 30 like me and started reading around 1984ish?  Those guys are also 3/4s of my team on Marvel Ultimate Alliance.

My collection definitely is focused around when I started reading comics.  My own Golden Age.  Good deduction on my age, Adam.  I started reading comics in 1987.
