On the one hand, I love it that the composition doesn´t need to accomodate a cover logo. On the other hand, this shot would obliterate everything else on a comic book shelf!

JB-When you're used to drawing objects/characters at a fairly regular size, is it harder to draw them at larger sizes?

Not as much as you might expect. As I have noted elsewhere, when I'm laying out these big pieces I stand at the board, instead of sitting. This right away shifts my viewing angle and distance, so once I get myself drawing from the shoulder and elbow instead of elbow and wrist, it becomes pretty easy.Once the layouts are done, I sit down to ink, and then it becomes not a whole lot different from working on a normal page, just thicker lines.

Fantastic piece of art. Looking at the picture, I can almost hear Rock shouting orders in the midst of explosions and machine gun fire.

Puberty really doesn't seem to be agreeing with some folks around here...

As anyone who has paid attention knows, I am not a big fan of my own work. However, I will go so far as to say that, yeah, this one actually doesn't suck.

Great drawing. Cap looks awesome. Sgt. Rock and Easy are a wonderful addition to this drawing.
