Say, JB, personally I see a lot of Kane in your costume designs. Would you say he was your main inspiration in that regard?

For fans of the Batmobile, a heads up. There are 3 versions of this coming out in 1/18th scale from HotWheels. The basic model is shipping now, and will hit retail stores in about 2 weeks (but you can order from Amazon, Toys R Us etc online). It will run about 30-35 bucks. The elite version is much more detailed, and will start at around 80 bucks. And the Super Elite will cost you around $300 (I believe it's limited to 1,966 numbered editions. These 2 will hit about 2 weeks after the basic version
Here's some pix and a video:

Also here's some places you can order them (apart from Amazon and TRU)

I've had the least expensive version of the Hot Wheel Batmobile on order for what seems like most of my life. Impressive as the "deluxe" version is, I can't quite justify spending that kind of money on it. Besides, the other two cars in the "series" might get piston envy or something.

Why are these statues called "full size" when this is precisely what they are NOT? Full size would be 6-7 feet tall. Size (as the saying goes) is not important. They are Full figure, or even full body, or something, but not full size.
Sorry. Pet peeve...

Oh, I understand that, Gerry. Just not sure why the term is used; it's just wrong. Anyone know when this term started being used or why? As far as I know, it may date back to the Greeks; I'm no art expert.
