Thanks, Peillon!
Hey Adam! Yes, the Green Lantern in the photo is Kyle
from his appearance on Superman the animated series.
I like the look of these Animated figures the 'lines' are nice.

Gil,I keep MOST of the small figures in the boxes 'cause they don't like to stand up on their own.
(Drives ya nuts when they constantly flop over)
And then there is the issue of shelf space!

And extra 'Supermans' and 'Batmens' are good for customizing into characters that you'll never get!
(M***** characters that is! -I made a nice Thor from an
extra Superman!)

It's strange, but to me that Logan bust makes me think of Paul Smith drawing Days of Future Past Logan--just looks like the way he drew the guy.

Anyone hear of this:

New Seattle company makes World of Warcraft figures

They use special code to take the figure out of the game servers, then a 3-D
printer to make the figures. And these 3-D printers can do some very fine
work.

I was thinking Days of Future Past Logan also.  I like the glare on Logan's claws in the 2nd photo.

I thought there was an Earth X mini that involved several characters from various alternate timelines, and "Days of Future Past" Logan was one of those characters.  Could that be the Alex Ross/Days of Future Past connection?

New arrival for ME and only ME   hehehe
(unless Ari wants to buy it from me - but it is 1 of only 3 in existence)

now I can't decide whether to break out the white paint as JB suggested:

Oh -- and for me -- that Logan / Wolverine DOFP bust is just that - a DOFP bust.  It's packed in an "Earth X" box, but when I look at mine, I only remember DOFP.

Thanks for that story, JB.

Alex Ross said in some interview that Batman should have brown eyes, never really thought about it until then.  Of course it seems that a lot of the big guns out there have the blue eyes.  Brown would be more common I would think.
Paint the eyes white, if you don't like, paint them back brown.  That's my two cents.

Totally missed this last week.  Glad to see there will be a Phase IV for Bowen.  Bring on the rest of Alpha Flight!

PRESS RELEASE: 12/06/2007

EXCELSIOR !!!

Bowen Designs has obtained a license renewal from Marvel to continue producing statues and mini-busts.

President and CEO Randy Bowen is quoted as saying:

“Holy Crap!  I guess we’re gonna make more of this stuff!

I hope people still want more.  This time we’re gonna go with some unusual designs, and character choices.  The editions will probably be lower, but at least we’ll make it fun for the sculptors and collectors.

We were worried for a while there, as it took an amazingly long time to get this deal done this time around. We’re just happy to be making more items that have been requested by the fans.

To all our collectors who’ve been so patient about this announcement: Thank You!”

His company will continue to produce Marvel products in the same scale and price range that Bowen Designs fans have come to expect.
