No I kid, I kid......Seiously tho. That's just a shiny metalic red right? I never saw it as a chrome red on his costume, but after seeing it like that on the bust it really looks cool.

No -- the one up thread is the original -- came out a couple years ago -- sells for about $100+ on eBay. The newer version looks like a re-cast knock-off re-paint attempt

Here's another custom (I think) job from the Statue Forum, and I like this look much better than the red chrome. The head is still messed up and needs to be redone, though.
I always thought the outer suit was just cloth, but this is a comic book, so I guess there could have been some metal in there.

I said much the same thing to a friend of mine named Alan when his wife was using his car. It had a personalized license plate reading A TOY 4 AL.
