What's the opinion on this here Bettie Page?

I can't decide if I like it exactly or not. This is 6" from Dark Horse.

So, this is the 13" for 124 bucks.

Seems like the same thing, but this one is much more evocative of Ms. Page and the face is spot on as opposed to the top.

I bought the 13" one. It's really sweet -- and I am not a particularly big
Bettie fan.

The Green Lantern above is from the new Mattel line (think it's new).

Some of this look kind of weird and overly muscled, but some are pretty great.

I don't even care for this version of Killer Croc, but this thing I'd like to have:

Dig this Solomon Grundy:

I hope that isn't some kind of repainted Hulk or something. But still...

A Gorilla Grodd too! Black Manta looks decent. By the way, the scale of Grundy to Lantern is here, I had to split the image but Grundy's arm indicates his size comparitively.

And Wonder Woman...I kind of like it. At least she's swinging a big old battle-ax, as she should be.

Actually, Chad, the Green Lantern in Andy's post is a new DC Direct figure
from the next Batman/Superman series.
Based on Ethan Van Sciver's art...

I'm clearly not the target market for these :

but does it make sense to have an Action Figure like Batman where the stiff
frilly cape makes it completely unwieldy?

And why does Superman have to be so ugly?

At least they got Green Lantern mostly right.

••

Are you sure that's who that is? That looks like a Black -- as in African --
face to me.

(Funny -- when I read "Black Queen" I went straight to Selene, not thinking
of the pre-Phoenix version. Gosh, it's been a long time!!)
