OUCH! That isn't too cool. I would think you could dispute these charges if you paid through a credit card. In this case it is sometimes better not to have any contact with ones heroes.

Very generous of you JB. Hope the story of your generosity gets made as public as possible as well

I wonder how Bryne Bashers would twist this kind gesture?

That is a really crappy way to treat a fan and customer,it`s not as if he`s snowed under with comic work is it? Hopefully Gerry you paid by card and can get some recompense, even if you do,i would send him a stern letter and a dictionary with the words virtue, honesty and integrity underlined.

Trying to get inside his head. That's not a ten-second sketch. And NOWHERE along the way did he stop and think "No es beuno?" I mean, that's the kind of thing you do the last day on the job, like the guy who just disappeared, leaving a cardboard "I QUIT" sign in a pile of biscuit dough one morning back when I was working at McDonald's.

Really? I just picked up the Modern Masters featuring his work.
I must echo as well -
"Nice gesture on your part, JB. "

That's a nice offer to Gerry you made JB!
So, Golden had no time to get to Gerry's commission until Gerry started to
complain, then suddenly a drawing appears to basically tell him off. I guess
he needed motivation. What a great guy. Too bad comics are full of jerks like
him nowadays.
