…Cyclops repeatedly mentioned the influence Apocalypse had on him…

Thus, Cyclops can never again be trusted.

Excellent work!

"Repeatedly" is such a strong (wrong, even?) word here! I would even dare Roque and Zaki to tell me when did Cyclops complain about Apocalypse during Morrison's run.

Also, isn't it interesting that Morrison stepped on and destroyed almost everything before his run and yet "kept" this part?

He mentioned on a plane ride, being unsure if he was free of En Sabah Nur.

Also, just because he doesn't trust himself doesn't mean that others wouldn't.  The same thing is going on in Green Lantern right now, this week.

Is there context for the other items in Thanos' list?  I'm asking.

Paulo, do you mean if Morrison really did  write the things I listed?
Also, it's a stretch to associate Scott's mercy killing to the after effects of being taken over by Apocalypse. This is something that doesn't come from the stories themselves.
Cyclops desn't talk about that, the others never askthe issue is never brought up. Never. Cyclops demonstrates a behaviour completely at odds with his past actions and nobody even tals about it!

And this is a proof of good writing, how?

No, I'm not doubting they happened, but, just in the interests of giving Morrison the benefit of the doubt, I'm wondering if they have justifications from a characterization standpoint.

"Like he did when....."

Roque, please stop lying. Wolverine is not trying to stop Cyclops, but telling him to kill John. From New X-Men #115 :

BTW, this, in itself, was a pretty wretched development.
