Why the "New Universe" title? Not sure what is happening to good ol'
Galactus?

in which Galactus, having absorbed the last scrap of energy from the dying
universe, cracks the seal on his armor, unleashing all the energy he has
stored within, and becoming the "big bang" of the next universe.

John, when you say "razor" what do you mean? (This is me not hazarding a guess)*** Using a razor blade or X-acto style knife to scratch and gouge the surface of the paper. This is very handy for explosions, rain, and other elements that are better rendered white-on-black. Some artists also use this technique for stars.

Got it, thanks. I recall lifting the top layer of paper of when working with Zip-a-tone waaay back and thinking "Hmmmnn I could use that to break up inked line work" I wasnt sure if it was something like that to whit ou were refering.

Ever tried erasing zip-a-tone? Old fashioned end-of-the-pencil eraser can produce come interesting effects.

This must have smething to do with the printing!? I noticed that they can be "smudged" Also heating the film can "warp" the spacing nicely!
I meant to ask you if you have any hints or tps about "line weights" John?

William!!!!!! Congrats!!! It is astounding piece. There really is no way that you can go wrong with a JB Galactus piece, but this one is special. I don't recall ever seeing Galactus' teeth before.

Oh, in my euphoria over the commission I almost forgot another story….at work I was telling a co-worker about my commission request and he said “so, you requested the word BOOM from John Byrne”? Thanks for adding a bit more detail then that!
