Sorry Stephane'

I've been at the hospital most of the morning. My wife is having surgery
today, and I came home to check on the kids while she's on the table. I
was getting ready to head back to see how she's doing, she should be in
the recovery room right about now, and I thought I'd see if JB had done
any new JLA commission today. Black Canary yesterday was awesome. I
figured Martian Manhunter would be coming soon.

Seems a bit hypocritical on this board that preaches spoilers about
decades old storylines and recent runs too, to give so much away in a
title!

Why not say: DRIFT: Captain America News and Commentary

Would that really be so hard?

Thanks for blowing the story.

---

How was the story blown? The death seems to be the draw of the story, not the twist.

Whatever the name of the thread, thank goodness it makes some kind of
sense as far as the current topic now.

I don't know. Within 10 minutes two posts had gone up either spoiling this in the title or spoiling it with the first post. I think if this thread hadn't been named as it had, that would have continued. I think if you are on the internet today, you will be spoiled.

As I said, the death seems to be the draw of the story, not the twist. What do you know of the story other than Cap dies?

Would your enjoyment of Alpha Flight #12 have been diminished if you knew in advance that Guardian dies?

If the publisher itself is spoiling it all over the national news, then why bother to keep it a secret?

I haven't read Alpha Flight #12. Thanks for spoiling it. :(

Oh, and before anyone comments if you didn't want to know, don't open the
thread....

How does this thread title NOT give away anything to EVERYONE who logs
into the JBF today?

The fact that it's in the mainstream press might be considered spoiler enough.  Also "The Death Of Captain America" could be taken literally or figuratively.  You wouldn't actually know until you opened the thread, right?
