Terrible news.

My heart goes out to those who knew and cared for him.

I met Dave Cockrum about 10 years ago at a store signing in Louisville.  A friendly, good-natured guy and a great talent.  A legend has passed.  R.I.P.

I can't begin to describe the impact dave cockrums work has had on me as a fan and artist, truly one of the greats, a sad day for comics.

Sad news indeed. I would like to think he lives on through his body of work though.
