Very sad news indeed.  He was definitely one of my personal favourite artists. RIP Dave Cockrum.

I was going through my X-Men just last night and pulling books for sale paging through the Cockrum run(his 2nd run), Damn.  He'll be missed.

This is heartbreaking news!! Daves Legion of Super Heros, X-men, Futurians work will be appreciated forever. Rest in Peace Dave ...you earned it!
