If the pajama information had been mentioned as a part of the article relating to Mr. Cockrum's love of the characters he worked on in his career, and had been only included tactfully within the text itself, it MIGHT have been acceptable, depending on exactly how it was mentioned. The fact that it was the headline is inexcusably disrespectful! The news was that the man had died. A headline stating his profession and the fact that he had died would have been perfectly sufficient. This was just an attention grabbing act that was insulting.

I haven't read through this entire thread so this may have already been mentioned but the Hero Initiative website (formerly ACTOR) http://www.heroinitiative.org/ has a message from the Cockrum family asking that donations be made in his name. I made a donation and ordered one of these which I would think any comic fan cannot live without!
