I'm next in line behind Darren. If we are to do one this month we need to get moving. Since Darren hasn't posted his Monthly, I say assign away Greg so the people can get started.  I'll assign the next month's if Darren doesn't.

Greg- Do you have an Alpha Flight assignment figured out yet? If so, please post it, so those participating can use this weekend to get rolling on it :0)

Sorry for the late response, Steve!  I'm finding the issue right now, and will post the image shortly! :-)

Edit: okay, sorry again for the delay.  Here is the assignment- we are to redraw/reimagine ANY JB cover from his Alpha Flight run with members of Beta Flight instead.  Imagine that instead of AF getting the go-ahead to form, Beta instead was the team to take action.  The only caveat to the assignment is that the image must not be a cover that has Marrina or Puck on it alone, since we would simply be redrawing them.  But if it's a team shot, that's okay.  Here is a pic of Beta from AF #1:

Awesome Batman entries.

Mark-Love the layout look forward to seeing more! If you have a kinko's nearby you many of them have a scanner!

Gary Lee-Fantastic splash page of Batman!

Michael Kane-Love the weight of the rendering and perspective/composition of the scene!

Greg Reeves-Great shot and emotion! Some of the inking reminds me on one of my favorite artists: Michael Golden especially the hair of young Bruce's father!

Steve Gumm-Wonderful action of great scene. Great foreshortening of Batman as he grabs mutant leader by the neck! I am an action addict so I love this piece!

Gentlemen, I was wondering if I could participate in this months monthlies with the Alpha Flight scenario? Is it too late to get onboard?

That was fun, I just finished mine up tonight. Pretty cool assignment, it was a good excuse to get out AF #12 again, what a great issue!!

Awesome- I can't wait to see it, Steve!  I have yet to start mine, but I think I have a neat idea for it.  It might have been more interesting to use Gamma Flight instead of Beta, thinking after the fact, but oh well!

Edit: started last night, getting most of the pencils done.  As time-consuming as inking can be, I really want to ink it and "finalize" it, so I'll come in just under the deadline I think!
