Mine is a "Ultimate Superman" that Wizard did a few years back. I like the Ultimate titles, and I like Superman, so...

Rance:

There already was an Ultimate Superman. It was done in a little series called
"Man of Steel" back in the '80's by a little-known talent named John Byrne,
and it was AWESOME.

Check it out sometime, if you can squeeze it in around the crap you are
currently reading.

Mine is cropped from Amazing Spider-man 122 page 9. I started using it because I figured it would be a nice idea to use the comic that has most touched me through the years. I consider Amazing Spider-man 121 & 122 one of the best comic stories of all time sooooo ....

I may go back to my North Carolina Basketball animated gif ( after I update the players) when College Basketball season starts again.

Hey Al, I already know all about Byrne's Man of Steel, and you are right, it was awesome. Since you don't know what I am reading, I fail to see how you can precisely judge it to be "crap" however. Also, since I highly doubt that you are the ultimate authority (pun intended) on what is and isn't crap, I think you are just being an asshole.

I'd like mine to be a picture of "The Other" Tom Tryon, actor and author (like I use at IMWAN), but I can never seem to size it, or convert it to the proper file type. If any of the mods care to do it for me, please feel free and accept my thanks.

See, Al, it appears you have never read an Ultimate book by this posting.  "Man of Steel" was an in-continuity reboot (and a great one at that).  That is not what Ultimate titles are or ever contended to be.
What we could use right now is an in-continuity rebooted  Al Cook who doesn't presume that since he doesn't like something it is crap.

My current avatar is a caricature of me. It was done by an older gentleman sitting in the audience while I was singing. He gave it to me, free, after the set. Really nice guy.

I used this as my MySpace avatar for awhile.
