My avatar is courtesy of Jack Kirby and Strange Tales 78.  I chose it because Kirby drew it, it looks sinister, and I can find my own posts easier with the red coloring.  Previously I had a panel from a Legion of Superheroes I had as a kid, and upon rereading as an adult I found it to have some humorous sexual overtones.  Before that I had a mug shot of Ben Grimm (in human form, by Kirby).

I miss the Liefield crazy Captain America avatar.

Captain Marvel, as played by Fred MacMurray
A smaller Color version of something I did in
Photoshop a few years back. I took his head an
placed it over Tom Tyler's body (from the old Capt.
Marvel serial).

Supposedly the original "look" of Captain Marvel was
based on Fred. Several folks including Alex Ross,
use him as a template for their version of Cap, and I
just thought it would be a cool idea.

Mike Mignola's version of Jack Knight, Starman from the Batman/Starman/Hellboy crossover, and I picked it because it vaguely resembles me.

Mine is JBNM's Nathan. I use it because of my fondness for glasses and sunglasses, and in honor to JB.

At the moment, I'm using a logo from the Oakland Athletics, who are in the Major League Baseball playoffs.  Normally, I have the targeted Guardian, from the cover of Alpha Flight #12.

I'm currently sporting the "Steeler Nation" logo for Football Season, although at the rate my favorite team is getting wins, I won't need it for the post season.

Mine is Peter Gabriel of Genesis in the flower hat he wore while singing the Willow Farm section of "Supper's Ready".  Currently it is a W with a strike-through because of my disgust with the government.  I hope the next government is as easy to disparage in avatar form.  I COULD hope that the next one is a good one, but let's be realistic.

Mine is JB's interpretation of how I see Galactus, since we all see him
differently.

Not that obvious, since I don't know what they are.

I try and change mine at least once a week. Currently I am supporting my co-workers with a little ILM action.

I chose mine because I love Galactus.

And that's exactly who I want to be when I grow up.

Haha.  That's classic.
