John, how about those that choose to post do so with absolutely no text, just the image!?

You may be misreading my rule, Darren -- unless you're imagining some folk having the characters making their excuses! "Gee, I know my arm is really badly drawn in this panel, but the artist didn't have his coffee this morning."

Sounds more like SHE-HULK than CAPTAIN AMERICA!!

Sorry, I -meant- no text in their post, not the art.

edit: like the following post, no trumpeting, no excuses, just the art!

URGENT QUESTION to JB:

Can we post early?

It doesn't seem I will be available for much internet fun for the next day or next week... Got family stuff and work taking up my attention... yes, yes... my wife did ordered me to spend MORE time doing family stuff... BUT adding work on top of that just eaten up all my time...

"Can we post early?"-George

I observed that John answered this in another post, so feel I'm not being rude by picking up on it here where it might appears as though I have answered a question directed directly at JB before he's had a chance to answer it.

George, why don't you canvass those people in the sketchbook thread who -are not- contributing to this challenge to post your for you?

That way whether you have a connection or not, your work will be represented?

Just a thought to work around your schedule.

Best of luck.

D.

Sudden thought...given the thread will be locked, can we assume that "Thanks" from all those whom participate for JB is implied by the contribution itself;-) Particularly as they wont be able to say "Thanks" afterwards!?

The thread locks at midnight tomorrow, but what time should we upload the pictures?

I thought that once all of the pictures were uploaded that the thread would be unlocked the next day for comments and such.

Maybe I misread or overinterpreted.

as far as I understand it...

we have ALL DAY on OCT - 10 - 2006 to upload the pictures...
at midnight the thread locks...
24 hours later JB decends upon us and goes med-evil on us...

shutter to think of the words that will come...

I'm really looking forward to seeing what you guys came up with. And to see how many brave souls went for it.

Just so you all know my stick figure version would've blown you all away.

Seriously though. You all get a lot of credit from me for taking part. Whether that amounts to anything is a totally different matter ..
