I once did 24 pencil lines on a page in 21 months!

What do I win?

back in 1992 or 93... long time ago... I did 64 pages in 12 hours lettered and film output... why? I had lost track of the deadline for my book while managing a service bureau...

Q for JB:

do you ever get 1/2 way thru a page, or fight scene sequence over a few pages that you block together as on scene, and say to yourself out loud:

"Man, that looks familiar! I hope I'm not ripping somebody off!"

Working on my first page tonight, and in the initial breakdown portion of our program.  I looked at the sequencing of the two pages and instantly got a cold sweat thinking about someone noticing a similarity to another artist.

(on a side note, JB being my primary influence in this field, I would LOVE  to have someone say I've captured a JBism on page, but they never do. They usually say stuff like, "You've really channeled Dom Perlin as if he were inked by Jim Mooney on that piece!")

Back to the drawing board!
Back I say, Back!
