Just about anything would be acceptable, this side of pornography --- with one "rule". Too many times, at conventions and signings, I have had fans come up to me, asking if I will look at their portfolios, and then presenting me with utter and complete crap, appending the excuse "I didn't have much time to do this, but I wanted to have something to show you."

This, as I have told them, is a complete waste of everybody's time. How can I make any sort of proper evaluation of a piece of work if it is not the best the individual showing it to me is capable of producing? (The "best you can do" does not have to be great work -- it only has to be the best you can do.)

I would expect anyone who participates in this to present us with nothing less than the best s/he can do.

I may give this a go, but my brain is frying trying to think what the Red Skulls war machine will look like in a full shot.

I think I will tackle this, but it might take a week, or so, what with running the business, etc.

JB, is there a deadline?

Edited to add: If there is a deadline, or even if there isn't a strict one, I think we should all wait until that date to post the art, so as to not influence each other.

I agree with this thought and had wondered about this when I suggested this challenge.  How do we arrange it so that no one posts their pages until most are completed?  Is there a way, perhaps a different link/e-mail that the artwork can be sent to and "held" until ready for display?
