JB, was Destiny intended to be the same Irene Adler
from the Sherlock Holmes stories?

****

You'd have to ask Chris. I didn't know her name was
Irene Adler until I read the issue!

Nice job, JB.  I like the Captiol Building in the background...is that a computer model?

I have a partially completed model of the Capital sitting on my hard drive, but what you see on this piece is hand drawn. No way I can really make use of the models on the commissions. I doubt the customers would want a big, honkin' piece of plastic film slapped in the middle of their drawings!

That's cool, JB!  Neat.  Nice job--again!  Didn't we see part of this in Lab Rats (a favorite series of mine!) or was that the White House?

Very good.

A really great piece. I think that like for the "Back to the moon" commission, even people who are not big fans of JB, or at least of the current JB, will like it.

I don't think I have used the Capitol yet.

I do have a White House that I have used, tho.

You make the decidedly optimistic assumption that liking or not liking "John Byrne" is based on the quality of the work.

Every time I see one of JB's commission pieces of Marvel characters like the X-Men it breaks my heart that the franchise has gotten so far away from what made it so special to begin with.

I was a amavel zombie all throughout my youth and now largely only read DC. If any company needed a universe wide retcon of their books it is Marvel. They ought to reset all their books back to 1985.
