Well, fellow friend, Dixon wrote many long comic runs (spanning from 12 issues to 70) including: Nightwing, Birds of Prey, Robin, Green Arrrow, Detective Comics, etc.

I would imagine JB or others might say that for the most part, JB is returning things to the creators' original intent and concept.

In the case of Superman, it would be a combination of editorial mandate, and shaking off the "barnacles" that crept up over the years, and if not returning to original creator intent (even that seemed to change over the early years), returning to some essential "core" of the character.

Whether you accept that argument is up to you. Both  of you.

Hmm, I don't read enough comics to know writers by name.  Dixon sounds like a qualified writer though.

Bob,

First, you pride yourself in generating hate and then
you claim you want to generate civil discussion.

Hard to do the latter, when you take pride in the
former.

You misunderstand me Bill.  I don't want a civil discussion.  I don't give a flying fuck.  My friend does.  I'm just posting for him.  He may try to register an account later and have a proper argument, but we're just having fun at this point.

Having fun at the expense of John Byrne, Chuck Dixon, and the members of this forum.  When and if there is such a time as your "friend" is able register properly, then he can respond for himself.  Until that time, however, buh-bye.
