I have a theory about the creative team of the upcoming Alpha Flight project that I believe most of you will hate.

From http://www.newsarama.com/JoeFridays/JoeFridays40_1.html
JQ: Rob is working on a very cool project for us with one of the top writers in the industry, outside of that I can say no more.

Mark Milar's been confirmed as the writer of the upcoming Alpha Flight project.
Mark Millar has expressed his respect for Rob Liefeld before, and worked with the man.
Mark Millar is one of the top writers in the industry (if you look at the sales of Ultimates 2, Wanted, Wolverine, etc.)
Alpha Flight is a "cool" project.

If Rob Liefeld has anything to do with this series, not buying it won't be enough for me.  I'll probably be depressed, stop eating, and sleep too much.  Otherwise, I think there is potential with this book.

You know, I've never bought comic books and burned them to prevent other people from reading them, but ...

if jb ever decided to come back and write and ink a new alpha series it would be a consistent top ten seller.

i agree with every one else, it's a shame jb doesn't hold alpha in as high regards as we do. i really feel it is one of the classic runs i have ever seen in comics, and i am still waiting for someone to "get" these charaters the way he did.

Regarding the possible selection of Rob Liefeld as artist on Alpha Flight
Vol. 4, I quote the mother of the infant snatched by a Lake Ontario
monster in AF V1 #14:

"No! No! No! No! No! No! No!"

Well, here I am on another topic defending Marvel right now, but IF Liefeld
comes along for doing Alpha Flight artwork, even for Millar or whatever, I
wont buy this shit.

Anyway, the funniest with Rob, is that he is not even able to do a monthly
book. So it will be two issues by Rob, and then some of his clones, and then
showtime is over.
