I think you are giving JQ a bit harder time than he deserves with that comment James.

Brian-I guess it will depend what else they have Millar doing. Is it worth it to put a high profile creator on a top book, selling even more of that book/hyping it more, or put them on a lower profile more obscure title, hoping they give that title/character(s) a jump start that could sustain itself for awhile.

The only person (beside John Byrne) who might be able to get me to pick up ALPHA FLIGHT at this point would be Alan Davis...

Does anyone know if Alpha Flight showed up during Alan Davis's run on the X-Men? That would be pretty nice to see.

Aside from Alan Davis' Aurora(man that's be a knock-out!), I'd really like to see his take on Puck and Sasquatch.

I think you're reading a heck of a lot more into my comment than is there, Rob.

Wait a sec -- is Millar suggesting in his quote above that he is just
now
getting around to reading Byrne's FF material? Yikes.

If that's true, that explains a lot . . .

Well, he's probably run out of Stan & Jack stories to rip off and/or shit on.

I don't know.  He's been talking a lot lately about re-reading things (Secret Wars, Stan and Jack, etc).  I think these are probably the first time he has read these stories since he was a kid, perhaps.

Millar writes fun stories for the most part though.  WOlverine was a blast when he wrote it.

No, but it is an inference that is probably desired by people looking for
another reason to hate anything Marvel
