Uh, yeah, Mike, you were no angel, to say the least.

All I know is, every time I hear something else about "The Other" and the
future plans for Spider-Man, I get a little more queasy, so I'm trying to
avoid it as much as possible. (Although the guy whose office is right next
to mine is currently reading the Spider-Man books and he keeps giving
me updates!)

"Uh, yeah, Mike, you were no angel, to say the least."

Yeah, Peter David pushed one of my buttons when he called an anonymous poster a douche bag and then tried to pretend HE was behaving professionally.  I'm not adverse to mud slinging, but I can't stand when people do that and try and pretend their hands are clean.  I respond poorly when I think that's happening, even if it isn't happening to me.

<<Wow... I haven't seen that level of HARSHNESS on a
message board in a long time.>>

Glenn,

Doesn't it just give you a nice warm and fuzzy feeling
for those non-controversial days of the Clone storyline?

Best,

Howard

Reading that and seeing the type of attitude displayed by David. Im reminded of the saying about beggers and choosers.

any attack on JMS regarding a story in which Peter is also involved puts Peter in an uncomfortable position.

****

Sitting on that ridiculous wrist-spike would be a good start.

"I can't walk as fast as you," says Aunt May as she runs like a football fullback. At least, from what I can tell, looking at that smear of mud and blood passing for a page.

Comics have become everything Dr. Wertham said they were. And worse, they have become what I used to be afraid they would become when I was a kid, and "modern art" was all the rage.

FEH.

That explains it! Wertham... was from the FUTURE!

Imagine if Wertham had seen that close-up of a french kiss between Black Widow and Tony Stark in this week's "The Ultimates"!!!

They have future plans. That's funny.
