Spider-man, Spiderman, l'homme araignée, l'araignée...

That depend of the country Chris.

This days we see more and more the correct spellling, but that was not always the case in the 70's/80's

Why are people arguing that adult characters can be interesting? Of course they can, that goes without saying. Journalists can be interesting too judging from the popularity of Superman, so how about we make Dr Strange a journalist? Billionaires are interesting too judging from the popularity if Batman, how about if Silver Surfer becomes a billionaire? Metal claws are a must! Let's give Mr Fantastic metal claws.

Different things work for different characters. If Spider-Man was supposed to be an adult then Stan Lee and Steve Ditko would have made him an adult.

Mr. Fantastic with stretchable retractable metal claws-that can stretch to like 50 feet long! That would be awesome.

All of the pro-agers here should be pleased as punch when writers start commenting on Spider-Man's arthritic knees and AARP membership...

X-23 have metal claw. the way the things are going in 5 years all the character in the marvel comics will be variations of wolverine. and when i say variations i'm optimistic.

Yes you're right: Acronym, not anagram.

Spider-man is in his 20s.  I wouldn't start doing stories where he asks for a senior discount quite yet,

To be credible I think that Spiderman should be less than 40. late 20's early 30's is the best age for adult Spiderman. Beyond that it would be "Arachnight Returns".

An of course the Lee/Dikto reprints are a must read for any fan.

I wouldn't have Spider-man go above his 20s myself. I think he always should be young.

Does Superman physically age as we do?  He did as a kid, but does he still?

Spider-man's Tears Use Paper Icreasingly Damp

I told you that with time I could find something dumber!
