"I don't think that's correct.  I think Sonja IS a REH creation whose trademark somehow fell under different ownership then Conan's.  If Sonja really was a Marvel creation, there is now way Dynamite would be able to publish their own book and release a trade with Marvel content."

What David Garcia said is correct, thanks David!

And Dark Horse are publishing books with Marvel content.

The third Wandering Star Conan book has been pushed back till sometime next year, but as you say the Dell version is out soon. The Bran Mak Morn and Solomon Kane books are also excellent reading.

heres a couple of Greg Manchess paintings from the next  book

Gerry,

No problem.

And wow, that's some gorgeous art.  I take it the first one is from The Black Stranger?

Like the character designs will be interesting to see what they do with an animated feature.

Gerry,

Unfortunately, I've been unable to afford the Wandering Star editions.

If anyone is interested there are Robert E. Howard stories on the Blackmask site.  Here's the link.

There is also a movie about Howard and his romance with Novalyne Price called The Whole Wide World.  It's available on DVD.
