JB: BECAUSE HE'S GODDAMN SUPERMAN!!!! ___________________
Not only should this be the quote of the month, but may I say that this serves as the perfect answer to so many questions from people who don't understand the Man of Steel (some of whom write for DC Comics).

Plus, I hear a rumor that she's actually a wee bit older than
that. Supposedly when she and Michael Douglas went to visit the
Clintons in the White House, the Secret Service got mad because she
lied about her age on her security form. It's an unsubstantiated rumor, but
seems credible to me.
Monica Belluci: yes! I actually think her being as old as she is
might help her better pull off the warrior aspect of Diana. When
she was younger, she was too soft and touchable.

One thing for sure, methinks, if Whedon does decide to go with the suit, it should be mostly appliances, a la Mystique's skin in "X-Men". Whenever anybody tries to make it an actual costume, it always ends up bagging and creasing in unflattering ways.

Carla Gugino made a definte impression on me in Sin City and seems to evoke Lynda Carter more than a little bit.
I'm not gonna post links that could get anyone in trouble with the boss, but google image search "Carla Gugino" "sin city" and there should be a few that pop-up revealing her physical assets.
Ah, crap. I just checked imdb and she's 5'5". Oh, well.

Brian, thank you for posting that picture of Julie Strain in costume. You just proved to everyone she is 100% wrong. While other may disagree, IMO there's nothing attractrive about her.

I'm fearing Whedon might cast someone he's familiar with from his previous projects.
If Serenity fails at the B.O. will he still helm the feature?

A lot of these women are just too skinny. You shouldn't be able to blow Wonder Woman down with a strong wind!

Looking at that shot, I totally agree. Looking at the 4 dozen really naked pictures I waded through to find that one, I totally disagree.

Peter Boyle has been down that path at least once before.
